Case Study: Blue Origin's Rivian Fleet
Blue Origin runs Rivian units out of its Chicago area logistics and operations base, and brought the fleet to us because the brand standard left no room to improvise. Exact Pantone color, exact logo placement, and no tolerance for lifted edges or bridging on a fleet the public photographs.
The work ran on Avery Dennison MPI 1105 cast vinyl, Pantone matched on our own HP Latex printers, with a color swatch signed off before any production run started. Scope was the full commercial wrap from design through delivery. Every unit was inspected against the approved spec before it left the building, and the approval record was kept for each one.
The outcome we can state plainly: zero installation issues and zero warranty claims on the program.
What an enterprise brand gets that a single van does not
Fleet programs at this level need project management as much as installation. For enterprise clients we assign a project manager, verify artwork against the brand guideline before print, coordinate across locations when units are not all in one yard, and report milestones as vehicles complete. Photographic installation records are available for any unit on request.
Two questions come up on every corporate program. Can you hold exact Pantone across runs? Yes, and the swatch is approved before production rather than after. Do you know the Rivian platforms? Yes: the 600+ Rivian installations behind this page cover R1T, R1S, EDV 500 and EDV 700, and the EDV composite body panels take a different prep from steel or aluminium.
