"Chicago Fleet Wraps did an incredible job wrapping my C8 Corvette, turning it from torch red to a sleek matte black finish. The craftsmanship is flawless. Every edge, curve, and detail was executed with precision. The wrap looks like factory paint."
"Roy and his team were a blessing to work with. From the beginning, Roy was extremely responsive and attentive. My wrap had to be done within a certain time frame for an event and he delivered. They did not hesitate to do revisions until I was 110% happy with the design. It turned out sick."
"Had a great experience with Chicago Fleet Wraps. They were super responsive with a great turn around time. We even had to update the QR code that we had built into our wrap and they handled that within a day. I highly recommend them."
"We are so happy that Chicago Fleet Wraps reached out to us. The differentiator here is the communication and overall process which translates to amazing customer service. The installation was better than expected. Looking forward to getting the rest of the fleet done."

Commercial buyers say "wrap" and mean four different things. The difference is how much of the vehicle gets covered, and coverage is what the price actually follows.
Full coverage. Every painted panel: both sides, the rear doors, the hood, and on tall units the roof. Film goes around handles, into recesses and up to the trim. On a box truck that means the whole box as well as the cab. This is what most people mean when they ask for a commercial full coverage wrap.
Partial wrap. A defined portion of the vehicle, most often the rear and the lower two thirds of each side, with the roof and upper panels left factory. A partial on a white van still carries the logo, the phone number and the service list at the height a driver in the next lane actually looks.
Spot graphics. Printed panels placed on otherwise bare paint: a door logo, a rear web address, a service list on the quarter panel. The least expensive way to brand a fleet that is already a usable color.
Lettering and decals. Cut vinyl with no printed background. Letters, numbers and simple shapes are plotted and weeded, then applied one piece at a time. DOT numbers, USDOT lines and unit numbers are normally cut vinyl rather than print.
Coverage is also the honest answer to why two identical vans can quote differently. Price follows the square footage of film and the hours to lay it, not the value of the vehicle underneath. A 315 sq ft regular cab pickup and a 1,120 sq ft 26 ft box truck are the same job at very different scale.
Trucks are where commercial wrap pricing spreads out the most, because a 26 ft box carries roughly three and a half times the film of a regular cab pickup. These are full wrap figures from the same locked table that drives every quote on this site, with the square footage each unit carries.
Volume applies from the second unit: 3% off at 2 to 4 vehicles, 7% at 5 to 9, 11% at 10 to 24 and 15% at 25 and up. Body style detail sits on box truck wraps, truck wraps, Sprinter van wraps and Ford Transit wraps.
Fleet graphics and fleet wraps get used to mean the same thing, and the distinction matters when you are setting a budget. A wrap is printed film over the panel. Graphics is the wider term that also takes in cut lettering, spot panels, reflective markings and window film.
Everything printed for a Chicago fleet is produced in house on HP Latex at our Portage Park shop, on Avery Dennison MPI 1105 or 3M IJ180-CV3 cast film rated for 5 to 7 years of outdoor service life. That rating is a service life, not a warranty. The warranty is 2 years on our workmanship and 5 years on the material.
Common commercial additions: reflective film for units working roadside after dark, perforated window film that carries artwork across the glass while the driver still sees out, and cut vinyl DOT and unit numbering. Design is included in a full wrap price, and the layered art files are yours, so a rebrand later is never held up by the shop that printed the first set. More on that at you own your wrap art and fleet graphics in Chicago.
Whether you call them company vehicle wraps, business vehicle wraps, or commercial wraps, the job is the same: make every vehicle you own sell for you. CFW runs the whole program: design, print, install, and rewrap across cars from $2,950, cargo vans at $4,200, and box trucks from $5,300, with fleet wraps in Chicago earning 3–15% volume discounts from the second vehicle.
since 2001, Chicago Fleet Wraps has wrapped 19,400+ commercial vehicles for HVAC companies, plumbing contractors, electricians, delivery services, Amazon DSP operators, food trucks, and national brands across Chicagoland. Every project uses the same two cast vinyl systems. Avery Dennison MPI 1105 and 3M IJ180-CV3. Rated 5–7 years outdoor. No calendered shortcuts. No subcontractors. No exceptions.
Effective commercial vehicle wrap design follows specific principles that differ from traditional graphic design. The most important rule: design for speed. Your vehicle is moving. Viewers have 3–5 seconds to absorb your message. This means large, bold typography (minimum 4-inch letter height for primary text), high-contrast color combinations, and a clear visual hierarchy that communicates your business name, service, and phone number in that order of priority.
Approximately 6,000 square feet of dedicated installation space, five climate-controlled bays, and indoor capacity for many commercial vehicles up to about 40 feet long. Printing runs in-house on two HP Latex 560s and an Epson SureColor R5070 at up to 59 inches wide with SEAL lamination, and secure indoor overnight storage lets working vehicles get wrapped after hours. Six installers, two in-house designers: see the shop.

Average lifespan by vehicle type: Cargo vans: 5.2 years. Box trucks: 6.4 years. Pickup trucks: 4.8 years (shorter due to bed flex and tailgate wear). Sedans/SUVs: 5.5 years. These numbers are for 3M IJ180Cv3 with 8519 laminate in Chicago climate conditions.
Warranty claims: The most common issue under our 2-year workmanship warranty is edge lifting on door handles and mirror caps. Panel adhesion failure comes next, almost always on vehicles that were not properly decontaminated before installation.
Revenue impact reported by clients: Service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) report an average of 8–15 new customer calls per month attributed to their vehicle wraps. Food trucks report a 22% increase in foot traffic after wrapping. Delivery companies report improved brand recognition but fewer direct-response leads.
Best ROI wrap types: Partial wraps (sides + rear) deliver 85% of the visual impact at 55% of the cost of a full wrap. For budget-conscious businesses, we recommend a partial wrap with a full rear door design. The rear is the most-seen panel in Chicago traffic.
Commercial van wraps start at $4,200, Sprinter vans from $4,200, and box truck wraps from $5,300–$6,700. Partial wraps from $1,200. Fleet discounts: 3% for 2–4 vehicles, 7% for 5–9, 11% for 10–24, 15% for 25+. Use our instant calculator for your exact vehicle.
